If we have both ELRC (CCIS) and PHLPreK or PreK-Counts, what is the rate for Virtual Learning during the quarantine-related closure?
⭐ You are responsible only for your CO-PAY if there was at least one day of in-person learning during the week.
Can we just transfer to another childcare so my children continue to attend in person without any interruptions?
⭐ Your child may not attend another child care center if your child is on quarantine. We must report every case of COVID-19 to the health department. They do contact tracing and have all the names. Every center is required to do that, and everyone who is affected must stay quarantined for 14 days. Many child care centers closed completely, but we do not accept any transfers from the other centers, who were quarantined in order to keep our children and staff members safe.
What if one of my kids is on quarantine, can siblings still attend in-person?
⭐ Siblings may still attend as long as it wasn't your child who was diagnosed with COVID-19 and as long as there are no symptoms. Please, carefully monitor children for symptoms and keep them isolated from each other during the quarantine. Payment will be counted accordingly. You may choose to keep both children home and join virtual learning program for both.
Can the fee be waived since I have to stay home with my child?
⭐ Unfortunately, the best we can do is reduce the fee by 50% to $100 in order to keep our professional staff and beautiful buildings. It is an immensely challenging time for us all, so we are grateful to you for supporting us in this difficult situation.
