So, if my child gets a slot in the PreK Counts or PHLPreK program, I don't need to pay anything?
Correct. Your child's attendance is completely free if you only attend 8:15am - 2:15pm on school days (according to the Philadelphia School District calendar). If you want your child to come earlier, leave later, or attend during school breaks (except summer) and on the days the school district is closed (within the center's working hours), then your weekly co-pay is $180. Summer break is not covered by these programs. Summer Camp rate for Preschool is $285/week for Package A and $350 for Package B.

What if we don't get a free slot? We just lose a year?
Unfortunately, as much as we would like to accommodate all the families, we have limited free slots. If you do not get a free slot, you have a few options:
☆ Enroll in a private pay program
☆ Inquire with other programs whether they still have free slots
☆ Wait for a slot to open up
-
You do not offer part-time (just a few days a week) at all?
No, we do not have a part-time option. Families must pay a flat rate fee for the week with no deduction for any absences, vacations, holidays, or closures due to inclement weather, power outages, or other situations beyond Ann Kids control. We ask families to think of it as a rental agreement: you do not stop paying your lease just because you get sick or you go on a vacation. As a courtesy, after 6 months of consistent attendance, families may use up to 10 weekdays per year for a vacation without having to pay tuition. A two weeks written notice is required.
